2theloo – brand development, graphic and spatial design
The public toilet shops of 2theloo were both nicely clean, controversial and funny at their introduction in 2011. Together with 2theloo Studio Gagarin investigated today’s wishes and requirements for this usually uncomfortable place to find out that rebranding was necessary. So, we turned 2theloo into a real ‘place where you want to go instead of need to go’.
The alarming red logo changed into a reassuring green one. The way of communicating has been adapted to these times. And finally, the interior design has been refreshed with special attention to cleanliness and comfort, including an iconic, personal washbasin.
The surprising toilet interiors remain, don’t worry, and have gotten an extra layer of funny facts on animals and plants, thus creating a bit of wonder and respect for nature.
